About the role
Bunge is seeking an Environmental Specialist to join our Environment team based in Adelaide.
Reporting to the Manager Environmental ANZ, you will provide environmental and sustainability advice and support across our Australian and New Zealand operations. Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you will help ensure compliance with environmental obligations, support reporting requirements, contribute to environmental projects and drive initiatives that enhance environmental performance.

Key responsibilities
- Provide environmental advice and support to operational teams, managers and contractors across the business
- Coordinate environmental compliance activities and maintain records relating to licences, approvals and regulatory obligations
- Develop, review and update environmental management plans, procedures and supporting documentation
- Support the investigation and management of environmental incidents, non-conformances and corrective actions
- Contribute to internal and external environmental reporting, including EPA, sustainability and global reporting requirements
- Monitor environmental performance, analyse data and assist in tracking environmental metrics and targets
- Develop environmental awareness through training, communications and stakeholder engagement initiatives
- Support the planning and delivery of environmental and sustainability projects across the business
About you
- Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Environmental Engineering or a related discipline
- Between one and three years' experience in an environmental advisory, compliance or operational environmental role
- Knowledge of environmental legislation and regulatory requirements across Australia
- Understanding of environmental reporting requirements, including emissions, sustainability and regulatory reporting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and data management systems
- Current unrestricted driver’s licence
