We’re looking for a Children’s Complex Care Assistant to support a 15-year-old young man with cerebral palsy in his family home in Chichester. He lives with his mum, dad, and younger sibling in a warm and supportive family environment.
This young man has complex care needs, including a history of apnoea and seizures, and requires dedicated overnight support to ensure his safety and wellbeing. We are seeking experienced carers who are confident supporting children and young people with complex clinical needs and who can provide attentive, compassionate care throughout the night.

About the Role
You’ll provide dedicated 1:1 overnight care, supporting his clinical needs and ensuring his comfort and safety while he sleeps.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and responding to apnoea episodes
- Recognising and managing seizure activity
- Providing overnight clinical observation and support
- Medication administration as required
- Supporting personal care needs
- Maintaining accurate care records
- Following care plans and clinical guidance
- Working closely with the family and wider healthcare team
Shifts
Night shifts available Monday to Sunday:
22:00 – 07:00
We are looking for carers able to commit to regular overnight shifts. Additional local shifts may be available for those willing to travel.
