Senior Recruitment Consultant – Engineering Sector

4.5‑day working week (1pm finish every Friday)
About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant to join our Engineering division. This is a high‑autonomy, high‑impact role where you’ll manage your own desk, build deep client relationships, and deliver specialist recruitment solutions across engineering, manufacturing and technical operations.
You’ll be joining a growing team with strong investment, modern facilities, and a culture built around performance, wellbeing and progression.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow your own engineering recruitment desk
- Build and maintain relationships with engineering, manufacturing and technical clients
- Develop new business opportunities and convert leads into long‑term partnerships
- Source, interview and match high‑quality engineering candidates
- Negotiate terms, manage offers and oversee the full recruitment cycle
- Work closely with resourcers and delivery teams to ensure high fulfilment standards
- Maintain accurate CRM records, pipelines and activity logs
- Represent the business professionally at client meetings and site visits
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Recruitment Consultant or Senior Consultant
- Strong background in engineering, technical or manufacturing recruitment
- Confident in business development, client management and commercial negotiation
- Ability to manage a busy desk with multiple vacancies and deadlines
- Relationship‑driven, proactive and commercially minded
- Someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, supportive and ambitious environment
