Key duties:
- Repair and replacement of damaged or corroded automotive body panels.
- Conducting chassis and framework repairs accurately.
- Assessing vehicle damage and applying appropriate repair methods to ensure top-quality results.
- Repairing bumpers, doors, and other body parts as required.
- Ensuring all repair work complies with internal standards and any third-party requirements.
- Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient and safe workshop operations.
- Maintaining a high standard of work, attention to detail, and safety procedures at all times.
Requirements:
- Proven experience working as a Panel Beater, with current or recent employment in the role.
- Formal qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Body Repair or equivalent are desirable but not essential if you have strong, demonstrable "on the job" experience.
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
- A valid UK driving licence with minimal points.
- ATA accreditation or experience working to BSI 10125 Kitemark Standards would be advantageous but is not essential.
