Project Manager - Satellite & International

Help bring Fortnum & Mason to new customers around the world
Fortnum & Mason is continuing to grow beyond our iconic Piccadilly flagship, creating exciting experiences for customers across travel retail, international markets, wholesale partnerships, shop-in-shop concepts and pop-up locations.
We're looking for a Project Manager to lead the delivery of these expansion projects, helping turn approved concepts into successful, customer-focused destinations that reflect the very best of the Fortnum & Mason brand.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised and commercially minded project professional who enjoys working across multiple stakeholders, markets and locations. You'll play a key role in opening new sites, supporting international growth and ensuring every project is delivered to the highest standards.
What you'll be doing
As Project Manager, you'll be responsible for delivering a range of expansion and rollout projects from approval through to launch and operational handover you'll:
Lead satellite store, travel retail, wholesale, shop-in-shop, pop-up and international projects from planning through to opening.
Develop and manage project plans, budgets, delivery schedules and resource requirements.
Coordinate multiple workstreams, ensuring risks, dependencies and milestones are effectively managed.
Partner with teams across Operations, Property, Design, Technology, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing and Buying & Merchandising to deliver successful outcomes.
Work closely with international partners, operators and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered consistently and in line with Fortnum & Mason standards.
Support store openings, mobilisation activities and launch readiness programmes.
Coordinate operational readiness across training, communications, stock, customer service and technology requirements.
Monitor project performance, providing clear reporting, updates and recommendations to stakeholders.
Ensure projects deliver against agreed timelines, budgets, quality standards and business objectives.

A key part of the role involves collaborating with external partners across a variety of markets and formats you'll:
Build strong relationships with international operators, travel retail partners and wholesale customers.
Support onboarding, mobilisation and launch activities.
Manage project risks across multiple locations and stakeholders.
Act as a key point of contact between internal teams and external partners throughout the project lifecycle.
What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who enjoys delivering projects in fast-paced, customer-focused environments and can confidently manage multiple priorities at once.
You'll have:
Experience delivering retail, hospitality, store development or customer-facing projects.
Strong project planning, organisation and delivery skills.
Experience managing budgets, suppliers and project governance processes.
A track record of coordinating multiple stakeholders and workstreams to achieve successful outcomes.
An understanding of store development, design and construction delivery processes.
Experience supporting store openings, mobilisation plans or operational readiness activities.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Commercial awareness and a customer-focused approach to decision-making.
The ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
It would be great if you also have
Experience delivering international expansion, travel retail, wholesale or rollout projects.
Experience working within a RIBA-aligned project environment.
Experience within premium retail, hospitality or food and drink businesses.
A project management qualification such as PRINCE2, PMP, APM or equivalent.
