Cleaner – Quirky Converted Warehouse Office
We are looking for a reliable cleaner to help keep our quirky, converted warehouse office clean, tidy and welcoming.
A note about the building: this is not a modern, polished office building. It is an old converted warehouse with a characterful, industrial feel. The building has exposed concrete, brickwork and plywood walls, so the environment is intentionally a little rough around the edges. We are looking for someone who is comfortable cleaning this type of space and understands that it won't have the finish or surfaces of a conventional modern office.
Areas to be cleaned will only be comunal areas and not our teannts private offcies
The cleaning will cover:
- Our main office area
- Communal areas throughout the building
- 13 toilet cubicles in total
- 6 kitchen areas/surfaces
- General floors, surfaces and high-touch areas
- Emptying kitchen and toilet bins and dealing with general office waste
- Making sure toilet roll and hand soap is topped up.
- Keeping roof terrace and courtyard swept and tidy
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, is thorough and reliable, and can work independently.
The ideal cleaner will be comfortable working around exposed brick, concrete, plywood and other industrial-style finishes.
Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 12pm (4 hours per day)
Start Date: 1 October 2026
Paid: Monthly on the 5th of each month
N.B. We are a small, family-run company, and as a result, our team is very close-knit.
So, although you will be working independently most of the time, we do need someone who is a team player and would be comfortable providing short-term reception cover if our receptionist is ever off sick.
This would simply involve covering reception until I am able to get to site and take over. It would always be within your agreed working hours and is not intended to require you to work overtime.
The main responsibility would just be to receive parcels and handing them to tenants when they come to collect them.
Pay: £14.00 per hour
