Financial reporting & controls
- Support the Finance Manager in the preparation, review and delivery of senior management reporting outputs
- Assist with the maintenance of financial controls, ensuring they are applied consistently across the function
- Contribute to the monthly reporting cycle, picking up specific outputs as agreed with the Finance Director
- Support audit preparation and liaison with external auditors as required
Treasury & working capital
- Support the Finance Manager with cashflow forecasting and working capital monitoring
- Assist with the day-to-day management of banking relationships and the invoice finance facility as required
- Help maintain visibility of the cash position and flag risks or opportunities to the Finance Director
Systems & process improvement
- Support the review and development of finance systems and processes during the transition period
- Help identify and implement improvements that increase efficiency and accuracy across the function
- Assist in documenting processes and embedding new ways of working within the team
Team support & knowledge transfer
- Work collaboratively with the Finance Manager, sharing knowledge and ensuring continuity of outputs
- Provide cover and support for the Finance Manager as agreed with the Finance Director
- Support the broader finance team during the restructure, helping members settle into new roles and responsibilities
- Ensure a smooth handover of any responsibilities at the end of the interim period
Business support
- Support the Finance Director with budget and forecast preparation as required
- Contribute to pricing reviews and other commercial analysis as directed
- Provide financial information and insight to support decision-making across the business
Pay: £41,897.01-£51,931.28 per year
