Job Overview:
This is a mixed role supporting both our external exam contracts and our Biometric appointments.
As an Exam invigilator you will be ensuring the security for a variety of professional certifications, making sure that candidates are following laid out procedures. Following training you will be able to support a number of different contracts and exam platforms.
As a Visa Documentation Officer, you will be the first point of contact for visa applicants, ensuring a seamless and positive experience throughout the process. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing exceptional client service, guiding applicants through visa requirements.
- Managing visa applications in accordance with established procedures.
- Handle customer complaints assertively and efficiently, and handle difficult customers with diplomacy
- Welcoming applicants, assisting with application completion, biometric data collection and documentation.
- Engaging with applicants to deliver outstanding service and support.
- Maintaining accurate records and following administrative processes diligently.
- Ensuring professionalism and a friendly demeanour at all times.
- The position is for 20 hours a week.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Administrative proficiency with computer systems.
- Excellent spoken and written English; fluency in any other language is an advantage
- Prior customer service experience, preferably in a client-facing role.
- Ability to build rapport and maintain relationships with diverse clientele.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously.
- Self-motivation and reliability, with excellent time management skills.
- Experience of working face-to-face in a customer service role or retail environment
- Working in a fast-paced team environment, and at times in a high- pressure environment during high seasons
- Experience in a Public Sector / Government client working environment is a plus.
Security Requirements
Please note that the security clearance required in this role requires candidates to
- Hold a current UK, EU or Commonwealth passport with Indefinite Leave to Remain (or equivalent)
- Be able to prove UK based income for 2024, 2025 and 2026 with either payslips or P60s.
- You must be a UK resident with a minimum of 5 years continuous residence in the UK
- Basic DBS checks and financial checks via credit agencies will be carried out
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
