At TechHouse | iCrack we're expanding fast — network airtime, insurance and IOT gadgets alongside expert mobile and tablet repairs. Our vision is simple: to deliver the best connectivity, protection, new gadgets and repair experience in the market through exceptional service, technical expertise, and a customer-first approach.
We want our stores to be brilliant places to work as well as brilliant places to shop — so alongside hitting targets, we care just as much about people feeling valued, supported, and having a genuinely good time doing it. We invest in our people: if you're driven and willing to learn, we'll back you with real training and real opportunities to grow, whether that's mastering a new skill or stepping up to your next role. Wherever you're starting from, we want you to feel like there's a genuine path forward here — and that who you are is welcome and valued along the way.
The Role
Working as part of a close team, you'll support and coach a portfolio of Store Managers to build high-performing stores — staying in daily contact to coach and unblock issues, driving sales performance across your area, and creating and delivering the training that helps every store hit its targets. Ideally, you'll be based centrally for national travel across your portfolio, and will join us at our Slough head office once or twice a month for meetings.
What You'll Be Doing
- Maintain daily contact with each Store Manager in your portfolio to coach, support and help unblock whatever's getting in the way
- Oversee all operational activities across the portfolio, including managing waste contracts, new store mobilisation and store inspections to ensure compliance with Health & Safety
- Regular store visits or coaching calls to help Store Managers work through what's working and what isn't
- Create and keep current a library of training materials — huddle drills, roleplay scenarios, coaching guides
- Deliver training sessions across your area, both in groups and 1:1, for Store Managers and their teams
- Track and report on sales and revenue performance across the portfolio, daily, weekly and monthly
- Oversee and approve staff rotas across the portfolio, ensuring appropriate staffing levels within budget
- Identify underperforming stores or individuals early, agree concrete and time-bound actions, and follow up on progress
- Support the recruitment, induction and onboarding of new Store Managers
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience coaching and operational management of multiple retail sites or teams, ideally in a telecoms or tech environment
- A genuine passion for developing people — you'll be creating and delivering training, not being handed a playbook or manual. You understand the retail landscape and bring ideas on how to increase footfall and sales
- Confidence using data to track performance and having honest, constructive conversations about it
- A flexible, hands-on approach — happy to step onto the shop floor or cover a store when the business needs it
- Previous start-up or scale-up experience is an advantage - you're happiest working with minimal supervision and can create your own structure, although confident in asking for support and guidance when needed
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively across the UK
Benefits
- Salary of £50,000–£60,000, plus car allowance
- 28 days annual leave
- Company pension scheme - auto-enrolment
- Staff discount across TechHouse and iCrack products and services
- Real investment in your development - a clear progression pathway
- A supportive, people-first culture where your wellbeing matters as much as your targets
