Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Apprentice Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about early childhood education and looking to gain hands-on experience in a nurturing nursery environment. As an Apprentice, you will support the daily activities of the nursery while developing your skills in childcare and early years education.
Duties
- Assist in the planning and implementation of engaging activities that promote children's development and learning.
- Support the management of daily routines, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for all children.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships.
- Observe and record children's progress, providing feedback to senior staff as necessary.
- Help maintain cleanliness and organisation within the nursery setting.
- Drive initiatives that encourage children's social, emotional, and physical development.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance your skills in early childhood education.
Requirements
- A genuine interest in working with children and a commitment to their welfare.
- Previous experience working with children is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage time effectively and demonstrate leadership qualities when required.
- A willingness to learn about early childhood education practices and childcare regulations.
- A valid driving licence is preferred but not mandatory.
- An understanding of nursery settings and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
