Overview
We are seeking a professional and reliable 7.5 tonne driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for recovering & delivering cars efficiently and safely across designated routes, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to all safety regulations. Duties
- Operate a 7.5 tonne Recovery Truck lorry to deliver goods to various locations in a timely manner
- Load and unload , ensuring cars are secured correctly for transit
- Plan efficient delivery routes to optimise time and fuel consumption
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are maintained
- Complete all necessary paperwork accurately, including delivery notes and logs
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery schedules or any issues encountered during routes
- Adhere strictly to road safety laws and company policies at all times
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with 7.5 tonne vehicles or flatbeds
- Strong knowledge of driving regulations and safety procedures within the UK
- Delivery driver experience is highly desirable, demonstrating reliability and punctuality
- Ability to operate flatbed trucks safely and efficiently, including securing loads correctly
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan routes effectively
- Good communication skills for liaising with clients and team members
- Physically fit, capable of handling loading/unloading tasks and long periods of driving

Pay: £13.75-£20.25 per hour
