Job Advert: YPAC Team Coordinator (10 hours per week)
Location: St Georges Community Centre, Bothwell Rd, Collyhurst Manchester
Salary: £33,066 pro rata (£20.49 per hour)
Contract: Part‑time, 10 hours per week

About the Role
YPAC , part of 4CT, is looking for a highly organised and people‑focused Team Coordinator to support the smooth, consistent and high‑quality delivery of our youth work programme.
This is a key role at the heart of our team. You’ll coordinate weekly timetables, support staff and volunteers, oversee monitoring and reporting, and act as the communication link between the CEO, delivery team and external partners. What You’ll Do
- Coordinate the weekly youth work timetable and ensure sessions are fully staffed
- Provide day‑to‑day support and supervision to staff and volunteers
- Manage rotas, cover, absence and holiday requests
- Oversee monitoring requirements, ensuring data is completed accurately and on time
- Support reporting for funders, board meetings and internal planning
- Act as the central communication point between the CEO and delivery team
- Coordinate information for social media and website updates
- Attend local network meetings and represent YPAC in the community
- Act as first point of contact for minor safeguarding concerns
- Identify small‑pot funding opportunities and support staff to apply
- Uphold YPAC’s ethos of inclusive, relational youth work
What We’re Looking For
Essential experience:
- Coordinating programmes, rotas or delivery schedules
- Supporting staff or volunteers in youth, community or similar settings
- Completing monitoring, reporting or administrative tasks
- Working in partnership with community organisations
Skills & abilities:
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills
- Clear, confident communication with staff, partners and young people
- Ability to manage competing priorities and respond to change
- Accurate record‑keeping and understanding of monitoring requirements
- Ability to identify and escalate safeguarding concerns appropriately
- Confident using digital tools (email, shared drives, Views or similar systems, social media)
Knowledge & personal qualities:
- Understanding of safeguarding principles
- Awareness of challenges facing young people in urban communities
- Commitment to youth work values and informal education
- Reliable, proactive and able to work independently
- Calm, supportive and solution‑focused
- Able to build positive relationships across the team and community
- Reflective and committed to ongoing learning
Desirable:
- Experience with funding applications
- Experience producing social media content
- Experience using Views
- Experience attending multi‑agency meetings
- Relevant qualification in youth or community work
