Fiontar Group is a leading global health and safety consultancy supporting clients across construction, infrastructure, technology, manufacturing and high-risk industries throughout Ireland, the UK and internationally.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Senior EHS Compliance Auditor to join our UK team.
This is not a traditional site-based Health & Safety Advisor role. We are looking for someone with a strong auditing background who can independently assess compliance against legal requirements, management systems and client standards while providing practical recommendations for improvement.
The successful candidate will work with a range of high-profile clients across the UK and Europe, carrying out detailed compliance audits and supporting organisations in achieving best practice standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver comprehensive Health & Safety compliance audits across client operations
- Assess compliance against local legislation, industry standards and client requirements
- Review management systems, procedures and documentation
- Produce detailed audit reports identifying findings, risks and opportunities for improvement
- Present audit findings to senior client stakeholders
- Support clients in developing corrective action plans
- Monitor trends and recurring compliance issues across client portfolios
- Contribute to the development of audit methodologies and standards within Fiontar Group
- Travel throughout the UK and Europe as required
Requirements
- Degree or diploma qualification in Occupational Health & Safety or related discipline
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 4 years' experience in a senior Health & Safety role
- Strong auditing experience within construction, engineering, manufacturing, infrastructure or other high-risk industries
- Excellent report writing and communication skills
- Ability to engage confidently with senior management teams
- Full UK driving licence
- Grad IOSH or CMIOSH desirable
