At Sodexo, you'll belong in a team where great food, creativity and exceptional service come together. We're looking for a passionate and experienced Chef de Partie to join our culinary team at our flagship client site in Epsom.
Working alongside the Senior Sous Chef and Food Development Lead, you'll play an important role in preparing and delivering high-quality food and creating an exceptional dining experience for our customers. You'll be part of a busy culinary operation serving approximately 200–400 covers, so you'll be comfortable working at pace while maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
What you'll do

Prepare a variety of fresh, high-quality food
-
Support the kitchen team during busy service periods

Keep hot and cold counters fully stocked

Serve customers and provide excellent customer service
-
Assist with hospitality services when required
-
Support special events and functions
-
Maintain high standards of food presentation
-
Keep food preparation and kitchen areas clean and organised
-
Assist with pot wash, plate wash, fridges, floors and servery areas
-
Support weekly and monthly stock takes and stock rotation
-
Help minimise food waste
-
Report damaged equipment, safety concerns or food quality issues
-
Follow all food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures
-
Complete required online training and attend team meetings
-
Work collaboratively with the wider team to deliver a world-class dining experience

Support with any reasonable additional duties when required
What you'll bring

Experience working in a professional food service environment
-
Passion for food and delivering high-quality service
-
Relevant culinary or craft qualifications and training
-
Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong customer service skills
-
Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
-
A proactive and positive approach
-
A can-do attitude and willingness to learn

Ability to work well independently and as part of a team

Comfortable using a computer to complete online training

Comfortable working in a busy kitchen environment

A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is required due to the site's location and limited public transport
