Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Reception/Hotel Manager/Manageress with a positive, friendly attitude and an enthusiastic and energetic personality, to oversee daily hotel operations and ensure exceptional guest experiences at our 4 star hotel.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to manage a diverse team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone with supervisory experience in the hotel or hospitality industry to lead a vibrant team and uphold the highest standards of service.
Responsibilities
- Manage front desk operations, including guest check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Supervise and support hotel staff, fostering a positive working environment and promoting teamwork.
- Oversee reservations, room allocations, and billing processes to optimise occupancy rates.
- Handle guest enquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and courtesy.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to maintain high standards of cleanliness and functionality throughout the hotel.
- Implement human resources policies, including staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all hotel areas.
- Develop strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and repeat business through personalised service.
- Maintain accurate records of bookings, staff schedules, and financial transactions.
- Promote hotel services and facilities to maximise revenue opportunities.
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar managerial role.
- Previous experience in guest services or front desk management is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of human resources practices within a hospitality environment is advantageous.
- Multilingual or bilingual skills are preferred to effectively communicate with international guests.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a focus on team development and customer satisfaction.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently. This role requires a proactive individual committed to delivering outstanding hospitality standards while leading a dedicated team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: £13.50-£15.00 per hour
