Salary
- £15.50 per hour (Class 1 General Haulage)
- £17.50 per hour (Drivers holding a valid ADR qualification)
About the Role
We at Work Lyf Group are currently seeking reliable and professional Class 1 (C+E) HGV Drivers to join our clients growing team. This role involves general haulage work, delivering goods safely and efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
This is a permanent position offering 40 guaranteed hours per week, competitive rates of pay, and the opportunity to work with a respected transport operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating Class 1 vehicles in a safe and professional manner
- Completing general haulage deliveries and collections
- Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
- Ensuring all transport documentation is completed accurately
- Adhering to all driver hours, working time, and road transport regulations
- Providing excellent customer service at delivery and collection points
Requirements
- Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Good understanding of driver hours and WTD regulations
- Strong safety awareness and professional attitude
- Good communication skills and reliability
Desirable
- ADR Licence (Enhanced pay rate of £17.50 per hour)
