Job Title: Electrical Appliance Installer
Salary: £25,000 – £29,000 per annum
Hours: 5 days on / 3 days off rota
Holidays: 28 days (including bank holidays)
Location: Various UK locations
Training: Full training provided
About the Role
We’re looking for a motivated and reliable Electrical Appliance Installer to join our installation team, fitting and connecting domestic and integrated appliances for Currys customers. You’ll be visiting customers’ homes to deliver and install appliances such as washing machines, ovens, dishwashers, and fridge freezers — ensuring every installation is safe, compliant, and completed to the highest standard.
No previous experience is required – full training and certification will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely deliver, install, and test domestic and integrated electrical appliances.
- Ensure all electrical connections and fittings comply with UK standards.
- Provide excellent customer service and leave each home tidy and safe.
- Diagnose basic installation issues and resolve them on-site where possible.
- Complete installation records accurately using mobile systems.
- Work effectively with warehouse, delivery, and planning teams to meet daily schedules.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence (preferably with less than 6 penalty points).
- Good practical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong customer communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Physically fit and comfortable handling large household appliances.
- Willingness to work on a 5 on / 3 off rota, including some weekends.
