Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Project Manager to oversee and coordinate various projects within our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in project management tools and software. The Project Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring project success and client satisfaction, contributing to the organisation's growth and reputation.
Duties
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Utilise Primavera P6 to create detailed schedules and track project progress effectively.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of project tasks.
- Monitor project milestones and adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines.
- Manage budgets, procurement, and resource allocation to optimise efficiency.
- Prepare and present regular progress reports to stakeholders and senior management.
- Identify potential risks or issues early and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout all project phases.
- Oversee the utilisation of Civil 3D for infrastructure design and related tasks when applicable.
- Lead meetings, facilitate communication among team members, clients, and vendors.
- Maintain accurate documentation of project activities, changes, and lessons learned.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in civil engineering or construction sectors.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 for scheduling and project planning purposes.
- Knowledge of Civil 3D for infrastructure design is highly desirable.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
- Exceptional organisational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, suitable for diverse audiences.
- Relevant qualifications in project management or civil engineering are preferred but not essential.
