ABOUT HSG
We are a family owned rapidly growing Washroom Hygiene Company based in Derbyshire looking for a skilled and reliable Handyman to join our team working 3 days per week, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.Working hours are between 8:30am to 5pm with a 30 minute lunch break.
You will be responsible for carrying out a variety of property repairs, general maintenance, and ad hoc odd jobs for both our various offices and rental properties as required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performing general carpentry, including repairing doors, hanging shelves and repairing/building furniture as required.
- Carrying out basic plumbing tasks such as fixing dripping taps and unblocking sinks
- Undertaking painting, decorating and plaster patching.
- Sourcing materials when required
- Working in a safe, neat and tidy way
- eeping outside areas of properties neat and tidy to include weeding, sweeping and watering when required.
REQUIREMENTS
Proven experience in a similar handyman or general building maintenance role. Working knowledge of basic plumbing, carpentry and electrics.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and occasionally away from home, accommodation and meals allowance will be provided.
A full driving licence.
