About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Security Systems Engineer / Installer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance and servicing of a range of electronic security systems across client sites throughout Greater London.
You should have a strong background in security systems, excellent attention to detail, and a professional approach to working with customers and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, service and fault-find CCTV systems
- Install and maintain Access Control systems
- Install and maintain Door Entry and Intercom systems
- Install, service and maintain Intruder Alarm systems
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently
- Commission and test security systems to a high standard
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive call-outs
- Complete installation and service documentation accurately
- Communicate professionally with customers and provide excellent customer service
- Work safely and in accordance with company procedures and industry standards
- Keep up to date with new security technologies and products
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience working with CCTV, Access Control, Door Entry and Intruder Alarm systems
- Strong technical and fault-finding skills
- Experience with installation, commissioning and maintenance
- A professional and customer-focused attitude
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A willingness to learn and develop new skills
- A full UK driving licence is desirable
