Blandford Comptoir is looking for a talented and passionate Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team in the heart of Marylebone.
Our restaurant celebrates exceptional produce, Mediterranean-inspired cooking, homemade pasta, fresh seafood, quality meats and beautifully presented seasonal dishes, complemented by an outstanding wine selection.
We are looking for a Chef de Partie who takes pride in their cooking, has a strong eye for detail and enjoys working as part of a professional, energetic kitchen team.
The Role
As Chef de Partie, you will:
- Take responsibility for your section during service and preparation.
- Prepare and cook dishes consistently to a high standard.
- Work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to maintain quality and presentation.
- Ensure excellent mise en place and efficient service.
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and organisation.
- Support and guide junior members of the kitchen team.
- Help manage stock, deliveries and minimise food waste.
- Contribute to a positive, respectful and collaborative kitchen environment.
- Work with seasonal, high-quality ingredients across our evolving menu.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar professional kitchen.
- Has a genuine passion for food and quality ingredients.
- Is organised, reliable and able to remain calm under pressure.
- Has excellent attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
- Works well within a team and communicates clearly.
- Is keen to learn, develop and progress their culinary career.
- Understands and follows high standards of food safety and hygiene.
