Well Being & Activities: Coordinator / Assistant (Nursing Home)
Working Hours: Full Time - 4 Day Week, 8am to 6pm, 38 hours per week.
Rate of Pay: £13.00 to £16.00 (according to qualifications and experience)

We are seeking experienced and dynamic individuals for the roles of Wellbeing Coordinator and Wellbeing Assistant at Cedar Care. In this role, you will help coordinate group activities, assist with food and beverage service, and support the organisation of community events within the home and out in the community, with Coordinators additionally leading and overseeing the wider Wellbeing team. This position is ideal for someone with a passion for hospitality and wellbeing, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact in a rewarding environment.

- Delivers personalized social and leisure schedules for residents according to their interests and preferences.
Criteria for the roles:
Wellbeing Coordinator
We are looking for an experienced individual with a proven background in coordinating activities or wellbeing programmes, ideally within a care, hospitality, or community setting. The successful candidate will have strong leadership and organisational skills, with the confidence to lead a small team, plan and budget for events, and liaise with residents, families, and external community partners. Excellent communication skills, creativity, and a genuine passion for enhancing residents' quality of life are essential.
Assistant Wellbeing Coordinator
We are looking for a friendly, motivated individual to support the delivery of wellbeing activities and events within the home. Previous experience in a care, hospitality, or customer-facing role is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided. The successful candidate will have good communication and teamwork skills, a caring and patient nature, and enthusiasm for helping create a positive, engaging environment for residents.
Skills and Abilities:.
- To possess creativity, enthusiasm, patience and empathy.
- The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. ..
- A qualification or experience in Health science, social science, events or creative arts is preferred, but not essential.
- To have management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Proficiency in using initiative.
- Some experience of working with the elderly or in a caring environment is preferred, but not essential.
