Freelance Community & Events Coordinator: Bath & Bristol
We're launching our student community in Bath and Bristol, and we're looking for a freelancer or agency to join us as a Community & Events Coordinator to help bring it to life across both cities.
About the Role
As a freelance, part-time member of our team, you'll work closely with our Brighton-based social media team to launch our community presence across Bath and Bristol. You'll be our local face, building relationships, hosting events, and helping shape something new from scratch.
Commitment: Approximately 2 days per month, spread across roughly 4 hours per week
What You'll Be Doing
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with venues across Bath and Bristol
- Establishing contacts with local brands for gifting and sponsorship opportunities
- Working closely with our social media team in Brighton to align on events, content, and community strategy
- Developing creative, regular event concepts that resonate with a student audience
- Attending and hosting in-person community events on our behalf
- Communicating with local brands to partner with for giveaways and event sponsorships
- Filming content during community events to be sent to the social media team
What We're Looking For
- Based in Bath or Bristol
- Existing connections with local venues (a strong network is essential)
- Confidence reaching out to and building relationships with brands
- A creative mindset, with the ability to consistently generate fresh event ideas
- Comfortable hosting events and representing our brand in person
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a remote team
