Freshview Foods is one of the region’s leading fresh-produce and foodservice suppliers, delivering daily to restaurants, hotels, schools, pubs, cafés, and contract caterers. Every day we operate a 50 van fleet, completing around 600 customer drops across the Midlands, North West, and our growing Southern region.

Role Overview
We are looking for a dedicated Night Routing Planner to optimise next-day delivery routes, manage overnight operational changes, and ensure our drivers start the morning with clear, accurate, and efficient routes. This role is critical to maintaining high service levels and supporting the smooth running of our transport operation.
Working independently through the night, you will manage route sequencing, overweight adjustments, rota changes, and handover communication with the daytime transport team.
Key Responsibilities
- Optimise and resequence delivery routes in MaxOptra during night shifts for next-day operations.
- Identify and resolve overweight vans, redistributing drops as needed.
- Communicate route changes clearly to the day transport management team and affected drivers (including early starts such as 4am).
- Make last-minute rota changes for overnight staffing adjustments.
- Collaborate with the daytime transport team to update and refine fixed routes.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure a smooth handover at the end of each shift.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience with routing or logistics planning software (MaxOptra preferred, but training available).
- Ability to work independently through the night with strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, particularly for handovers and driver coordination.
- Strong organisation skills and high attention to detail.
- Previous experience in transport, logistics, delivery planning, or operational coordination is beneficial.

Hours of Work: 40 hours per week - 10pm-6.30am includes weekends
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £35,000.00 per year
