BLOK has grown from a small cafe into one of Belfast's most exciting hospitality brands. Food has become a huge part of our identity, and we're looking for a talented Head Chef to help take it to the next level.
If you're passionate about incredible produce, simple food done exceptionally well, leading from the front, and creating menus people genuinely get excited about, we'd love to meet you.
What you'll be doing
- Leading and inspiring our kitchen team.
- Designing seasonal brunch, lunch and evening menus.
- Maintaining exceptional food quality and consistency.
- Managing food GP, stock control and kitchen budgets.
- Training, mentoring and developing chefs.
- Working closely with the directors to shape the future of the food offering across the business.
- Helping launch new concepts and future locations.
We're looking for someone who
- Has experience as a Head Chef or strong Sous Chef ready to step up.
- Loves fresh, modern food with creativity and attention to detail.
- Is calm under pressure and leads by example.
- Has excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Wants to be part of a fast-growing independent business.
- Takes pride in building culture, not just cooking food.
