Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and compassionate Day and Night Care Assistants to join our dedicated care team. Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate personal care to residents, assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility needs
- Monitor residents’ health and well-being, reporting any changes or concerns promptly to senior staff
- Follow individual care plans meticulously to ensure tailored support for each resident
- Maintain a safe and clean environment by adhering to health and safety protocols at all times
- Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and team members to promote understanding and reassurance
- Support residents in engaging with activities that enhance their quality of life
- Use IT systems to update care records accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with data protection standards
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided
- Ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing
- Strong IT skills for maintaining accurate records and following digital care plans
- Excellent communication skills to build trustful relationships with residents and colleagues
- A caring attitude with the ability to respond calmly in challenging situations
- Must be available to work alternative weekends

Rates of pay: £12.85 weekday and £13.85 for weekends
