Summary
As a Bar Staff/Waiter member at Gamba, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment for our customers. Located in Glasgow, this position involves serving customers with enthusiasm and ensuring they have an exceptional experience while dining with us.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve beverages and snacks to customers in a professional manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area and equipment.
- Assist customers with food and drink selections and provide recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations at all times.
- Manage time effectively to meet customer demands during peak hours.
- Upsell products to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a bar or hospitality setting is essential.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices.
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Ability to upsell products effectively to enhance customer satisfaction.
