Duties of the role:
- Performing comprehensive mechanical repairs, including timing chains, clutches, and engine work
- Conducting turbo replacements and associated repairs
- Servicing and repairing gearboxes and drivetrains
- Carrying out suspension and brake repairs
- Fault diagnosis and mechanical problem-solving
- Strip-down and repair of engine components
- Working across a broad spectrum of vehicle types and models
- Ensuring high-quality workmanship standards are maintained
Requirements for the Senior Vehicle Technician position:
- Proven experience as a Senior Vehicle Technician with a focus on mechanical repairs
- Strong expertise in timing chains, clutches, engine repairs, turbos, and gearboxes
- Ability to handle complex mechanical tasks confidently
- Good fault diagnosis skills; electrical experience is advantageous but not essential
- Passionate about delivering excellent work and taking pride in your technical ability
- Ideally, someone with a background in fast-paced, multi-make workshops
