SPETISBURY MANOR CARE HOME in the village of Spetisbury (3 miles south of Blandford) requires an experienced BANK CHEF with high standards and culinary ability. Our clientele are discerning older people who have an expectation of good traditional home cooking with, on occasions, a continental influence. Will also be catering for dietary needs. Very sociable hours.
Key duties include:-
- Preparing and cooking nutritious, varied and high quality meals from locally sourced ingredients.
- Plating and presenting food for luncheon and supper.
- Planning menus and ensuring allergens are recorded and resident’s dietary needs are met.
- Ordering, checking and controlling supplies.
- Complying with Food Hygiene Standards and ensuring all relevant paperwork is completed. This includes ensuring the kitchen is kept clean.
