Purpose of the role
We currently have a job opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join our team working Monday to Thursday at our site in Castleford. The successful applicant will join us on a full time, permanent basis and will perform multiple duties within the warehouse and distribution function.
Hours of work: 1700-0330 / Monday to Thursday
*** £13.90 plus further enhancement for night shift ***
*** Enhanced pay for Fork Lift licence ***
Key areas of responsibility:
- Loading and unloading of vehicles
- Goods in
- Picking raw materials and finished goods
- Locate goods into the warehouse using VNA reach truck
- Servicing the production team with product in and out
- Boxing and labeling
- Stock counting
- Maintain general tidiness and standards within the warehouse
Criteria
- Educated to GCSE Grade C or above in English and Mathematics. (Desirable)
- Good understanding of the English language both written and verbal.(Essential)
- Previous experience working within a warehouse environment together with a forklift truck licence. (Desirable)
You will be required to work from heights.
