Dental Hygienist Therapist
Self-Employed | 2 Days per Week | £28–£30 per Hour
At 71 Dental, we are a modern, independently owned dental practice in Leyland, committed to delivering exceptional patient care in a supportive and welcoming environment. We are looking for a Dental Hygienist Therapist to become an integral part of our friendly and collaborative team. An immediate start is available, although we can be flexible for the right candidate.
About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a well-established mixed practice, providing a combination of hygiene and therapy services to both NHS and private patients.
You will be supported by an experienced clinical and management team and will have the opportunity to build strong relationships with patients while promoting preventative dentistry and long-term oral health.
Responsibilities
- Providing high-quality dental hygiene treatments
- Delivering therapy treatments within your scope of practice
- Supporting patients with preventative advice and oral health education
- Working closely with our dentists, nurses and wider team
- Maintaining accurate clinical records and high standards of patient care
- Helping patients feel comfortable, informed and supported throughout their visit

About You
You will be:
- GDC registered as a Dental Hygienist Therapist
- Passionate about preventative dentistry and patient education
- Friendly, professional and patient-focused
- A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
- Enjoys working as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Shares our commitment to delivering exceptional patient care
Previous NHS and private practice experience would be advantageous, although we welcome applications from all suitably qualified candidates.
