Job Description:
As part of our warehouse team, you play an important role in making sure that our customers can get what they want, quickly. Your primary task is to pick and pack orders to ensure they are sent out to customers in a timely manner. Other duties include stock replenishment from bulk locations, keeping the workplace tidy, ensuring stock is stored in excellent retail condition and that stock level figures and locations are accurately maintained.
Duties:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments
- Verify and inspect incoming goods for damages or defects
- Sort, label, and store items in designated warehouse locations
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently
- Prepare orders for shipment, including packaging and labelling
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Perform inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed
Skills:
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods of time
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order fulfilment.
- Strong organizational skills to effectively manage inventory and warehouse space
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and order processing systems
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and practices
