Our client, a super friendly small legal firm based Cornwall are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Qualified Residential Conveyancer to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the legal aspects of residential property transactions, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for our clients. This role requires strong organisational skills, effective communication abilities, and a solid understanding of IT systems to manage documentation and correspondence effectively. This role could be part-time to start with
Responsibilities
- Manage the conveyancing process from initial instruction through to completion, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
- Communicate effectively with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other stakeholders throughout the transaction.
- Prepare and review legal documents including contracts, transfer deeds, and property searches.
- Conduct due diligence on properties to identify any potential issues or risks.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with company policies and procedures.
- Provide timely updates to clients regarding the progress of their transactions.
- Handle any queries or issues that may arise during the conveyancing process in a professional manner.
Experience
- Proven experience in residential conveyancing is essential.
- Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with clients and other parties involved in transactions.
- Proficiency in IT systems relevant to conveyancing processes, including case management software.
- Exceptional organisational skills to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
