Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Curtain & Blind Maker to join our dynamic team. This unique role is ideal for a talented artisan who possesses a rare blend of traditional craftsmanship, confident client-facing communication, and strong organisational skills to help seamlessly manage projects from initial concept through to final installation.
Key Responsibilities
- Bespoke Manufacturing: Craft and hand-finish luxury curtains, blinds, and soft furnishings to exact specifications, ensuring flawless pattern matching, interlining, and premium heading execution.
- Client Consultations: Conduct professional on-site consultations, taking precise measurements and offering expert guidance on fabric suitability, technical tracks, and window treatment styling.
- Studio Collaboration: Partner closely with our design studio to ensure window treatments align perfectly with the overall interior aesthetic and architectural briefs.
- Project Coordination & Admin: Manage client interactions with exceptional professionalism, handle scheduling for site visits, maintain client records, and coordinate project timelines.
- Installation & Dressing: Assist with or oversee the final installation and dressing on-site to ensure the finished product meets our exacting standards.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven Expertise: Extensive, high-level experience in premium curtain and blind manufacturing, with a deep technical understanding of high-end fabrics, hardware, and track systems.
- Client-Facing Confidence: Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to confidently advise and build rapport with discerning clients.
- Meticulous Eye for Detail: An absolute commitment to flawless execution and a strong portfolio demonstrating luxury-level, hand-finished quality.
- Organised & IT Literate: Comfortable managing administrative tasks, schedules, and project coordination independently.
- Flexibility: Ability to work efficiently across a hybrid model (studio workshop, client sites, and remote project administration).
- Logistics: Valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for regular travel to client sites.
