Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Food & Beverage Supervisor, where your leadership and culinary expertise will elevate the guest experience! The salary is £30,500 + shared tips and the hours are a 45 hour week on a shift pattern over 5 days but can include weekend and evenings so you must be flexible.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate all aspects of food preparation, cooking, serving, and food presentation to maintain high-quality standards.
- Lead and motivate the food and beverage team, providing training, guidance, and support to ensure excellent customer service.
- Oversee food safety protocols and sanitation procedures to comply with health regulations and maintain a safe environment.
- Manage daily operations including inventory control, stock replenishment, and ensuring proper food storage practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of dishes, monitor food production processes, and uphold culinary standards.
- Assist in menu planning and suggest improvements based on customer feedback and current trends.
- Handle guest inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure overall satisfaction with dining experiences.
Experience
- Proven management or supervisory experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Extensive background in food production, cooking, food preparation, and serving techniques.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise diverse teams effectively.
- Hands-on experience in kitchen operations, culinary arts, or restaurant management.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices essential for maintaining compliance.
- Previous barista experience or familiarity with beverage service is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills coupled with a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality experiences.
