Summary
We are currently seeking a Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team at BE Logistics. This role is vital in ensuring that our deliveries are made efficiently and on time, contributing to our mission of outstanding service. The delivery locations could be local to east anglia or other to other parts of the United Kingdom.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery van to transport goods to various locations.
- Ensure timely delivery of packages while adhering to traffic regulations.
- Communicate effectively with the traffic team and customers regarding delivery status.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
- Assisting in the unpacking of containers for ours customers including checking freight, labelling and loading freight on own vehicles and others.
- General Warehouse duties
- Assist in loading and unloading packages, including heavy lifting as required.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and any issues encountered.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
- Ability to handle heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks.
- Familiarity with national routes and traffic regulations.
- Some overnight hotel stays may be required, subject to delivery locations
Pay: £33,000.00 per year
