About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and people-focused Trainee Events Assistant to join our team in Bradford. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for a graduate, career starter or motivated individual who wants to develop practical experience in event coordination, customer engagement, administration and team support.
Full training and ongoing coaching will be provided, so previous event management experience is not essential. You will learn how events are prepared, coordinated and delivered while gaining practical experience in customer communication, event administration, scheduling and on-site support.
You will work alongside experienced colleagues in a supportive environment where professional development is encouraged. As your confidence and capabilities grow, you may take on additional responsibilities and progress towards Event Coordinator, Event Executive, Event Manager or wider leadership opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the planning and preparation of events, activities and customer engagements.
- Support the coordination of event schedules, resources, materials and logistical requirements.
- Help prepare event spaces and ensure required materials are available before activities begin.
- Communicate professionally with customers, colleagues, suppliers and event partners.
- Provide friendly and helpful customer service throughout event activities.
- Assist with registration, enquiries and general event administration where required.

Requirements

The role is suitable for graduates, career starters and candidates with transferable experience from customer service, retail, hospitality, administration, sales, marketing, events or other people-focused environments.
Experience
Previous experience in relevant event management, customer-facing, administrative, retail, hospitality, sales, marketing, operations, or related roles is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.
