Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Manager to oversee daily operations within our service department. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of quality. The Service Manager will be instrumental in driving sales through upselling techniques and ensuring smooth cash handling procedures, all while fostering a positive environment for both customers and team members.
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the service team to deliver outstanding service delivery
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company standards
- Provide training and support to staff
- Monitor service quality, address concerns promptly, and resolve issues effectively
- Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming environment within the service area
- Analyse sales data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
- Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing development of team members
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role
- SVQ level 4 in Management of care and leadership required as minimum
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and handle complaints professionally
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and develop staff members
- Organised, proactive, with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining high standards of service delivery
- Proven knowledge of legislation within the Scottish care sector

Pay: £34,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
