Year 6 Intervention Teacher
Are you a passionate and experienced Year 6 teacher with a proven track record of raising attainment? A school in Small Heath is seeking a dedicated and skilled Year 6 Intervention Teacher to join our team. This is a vital role designed to support our Year 6 pupils as they prepare for their end-of-key-stage assessments and transition to secondary school.
We are looking for a teacher who has strong experience in Upper Key Stage 2, particularly in Year 6. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and SATs expectations, and be confident in delivering targeted intervention sessions in reading, writing and mathematics. You should use assessment data effectively to plan and deliver impactful, tailored support, and be able to work flexibly, liaising with class teachers and senior leaders to maximise pupil progress. Above all, you’ll be someone who builds strong, supportive relationships with pupils, boosting confidence and resilience.

Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Significant experience teaching in Upper KS2, ideally Year 6
- Demonstrable impact in raising attainment through intervention
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- A commitment to inclusive education and high expectations for all learners
