Job Summary
We are seeking motivated and dedicated Kitchen Staff to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting food preparation, cooking, and maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop culinary skills within a dynamic and fast-paced setting. Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided for the right candidate.
Duties
- Assist in food preparation and meal assembly according to established recipes and standards
- Support cooking activities, ensuring dishes are prepared efficiently and to quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, sanitising work surfaces, and disposing of waste appropriately
- Follow food safety regulations and hygiene protocols at all times
- Help with stock rotation and inventory management to ensure ingredients are fresh and available
- Support serving staff during busy periods by preparing ingredients or assisting with basic food service tasks
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is used safely and maintained properly
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen, restaurant, or catering environment is advantageous but not mandatory
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings or weekends if required
- A positive attitude, team spirit, and willingness to learn new skills
