We're looking for a dedicated Housekeeper to join our friendly and hard-working team at The Fish Hotel.
Set within 500 acres of beautiful Cotswold countryside, The Fish offers a truly unique guest experience, with woodland treehouses, shepherds' huts, cosy cabins and The Lodge nestled across our hillside estate. Our Housekeeping team plays a vital role in creating outstanding first impressions and ensuring every guest enjoys a warm, welcoming and memorable stay.
The Role
- 20 hours per week
- 5am-9am, 5 days per week
- Weekend work included
This position is primarily based at The Lodge, helping to ensure our guest areas and accommodation are beautifully presented and ready for the day ahead.
What you'll be doing:
- Cleaning and presenting guest bedrooms and public areas to the highest standards
- Ensuring The Lodge feels welcoming, fresh and beautifully maintained each day
- Working efficiently and independently during the early morning shift
- Taking pride in attention to detail and maintaining exceptional cleanliness standards
- Supporting the wider housekeeping team when required
What we're looking for:
- A friendly, hardworking attitude and excellent eye for detail
- Someone who takes pride in creating clean, organised and welcoming spaces
- The ability to work independently and reliably in the early morning
- Previous housekeeping experience would be helpful but isn't essential, as full training will be provided
- A driving licence and own transport would be beneficial due to our countryside location
The Details:
- £13.45 per hour, rising to £13.65 after one year
- Plus gratuities
- Meals on duty and uniform provided
