Hello! :) We're looking for a staff member to work:
- Sunday to Thursday - 40 hour week (9-5)
Including half term and holidays. The hours are not flexible.
Job Overview
We are a multi-award winning site - we have recently been named one of the top 5 softplays in the country, and have won the best softplay coffee and cake in the country!
You will play a very crucial role in creating an inviting atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items.
You will also be a general assistant to the soft play - this means a lot of standing on your feet, cleaning, dancing to Baby Shark, and maintenance.
You will be talking to customers all day long, so we're looking for an extroverted individual who will enjoy this.
As we are a small team, you will be very important in day to day work!
AT LEAST TWO REFERENCES ARE REQUIRED!
Duties
- Showing customers to tables, and logging them in through our booking system.
- Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders accurately and efficiently.
- Handle card transactions and operate the till.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking supplies as needed.
- Clean and tidy the Softplay and amenities regularly.
- Come in on time (9am) every day.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a café or food service environment is essential.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Time management abilities to handle busy periods effectively.
- Food Safety/Hygeine level 2 is preferred.
- A passion for coffee, and people!
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
