Site Manager
We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Site Manager to join our site fabrication and installation team and work alongside an existing site manager.
The role involves planning and managing site work, coordinating small teams and working directly with clients and other stakeholders. You will be responsible for keeping projects on track, solving problems on site, supporting your teams and completing the required paperwork.
Our work is mainly within food processing and similar industrial facilities, including plant installation and relocation, pipework, fabrication and associated mechanical works. You may be required to manage teams across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage site activities and labour.
- Lead, coordinate and delegate to small teams.
- Work directly with clients and other site stakeholders.
- Resolve practical, technical and client-interface issues.
- Support the team hands-on when required.
- Monitor progress, quality and safety.
- Manage site paperwork, reports and handover documentation.
- Coordinate materials, equipment and resources.
- Liaise with the office/project team to ensure projects run smoothly.
About You
You will be:
- Experienced in site management, supervision or a senior installation role.
- Ideally experienced in food processing, industrial or mechanical installation environments.
- A strong planner with good organisational skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Confident managing and delegating to teams.
- Comfortable dealing directly with clients.
- Practical, hands-on and a good problem solver.
- Able to manage changing priorities and, when required, multiple sites.
- Committed to high standards of safety, quality and workmanship.
Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Pay: £22.00-£24.40 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
