We are seeking an enthusiastic, reliable and people-focused Community Coach to join our growing team.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to inspire children and young people through high-quality physical activity, PE and sport programmes. The successful candidate will primarily be based at St Columba's Catholic Primary School, delivering curriculum PE, targeted interventions and extra-curricular activities, whilst also supporting wider Bradford City FC Community Foundation programmes.
You will play an important role in creating positive experiences that improve confidence, wellbeing, physical literacy and participation in sport. As a representative of both Bradford City AFC and the Community Foundation, you will be expected to deliver safe, inclusive and engaging sessions that reflect our values and commitment to excellence.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Programme Delivery
● Deliver high-quality PE lessons, physical activity interventions and community sport sessions.
● Plan, deliver and evaluate sessions that are structured, progressive, inclusive and participant-centred.
● Adapt delivery to meet the needs of different ages, abilities and backgrounds, including participants with additional needs.
● Deliver before-school, lunchtime and after-school activities where required.
● Support holiday camps, community projects and Foundation events.
School Engagement
● Work closely with school staff to support curriculum delivery and wider school priorities.
● Deliver targeted interventions that support pupil development, wellbeing and engagement.
● Promote positive attitudes towards physical activity and healthy lifestyles.
Monitoring and Administration
● Maintain accurate registers, attendance records and participant information.
● Complete monitoring and evaluation requirements, including Salesforce data entry.
● Collect participant feedback and contribute to programme impact reporting.
Safeguarding and Compliance
● Promote the welfare of children, young people and adults at risk.
● Report concerns in line with safeguarding policies and procedures.
● Maintain professional boundaries and act as a positive role model.
● Ensure all sessions comply with safeguarding, health and safety, data protection and organisational policies.
Organisational Support
● Maintain Foundation equipment and resources.
● Represent Bradford City FC Community Foundation professionally at all times.
● Work collaboratively with colleagues, schools and community partners.
● Contribute positively to the achievement of Foundation aims, objectives and targets.

PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential:
- Previous and demonstrable coaching experience
- Sport-specific Level 2 coaching qualification (e.g. football, cricket, basketball etc)
- An ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and written (including electronically)
- Being organised and reliable
- A passion and enjoyment for working with children and young people
- Being committed and driven to the aims and objectives of the Community Foundation
- An awareness and understanding of all Community Foundation policies
- Full, clean UK Driving License
- Experience working in a safeguarding environment
- Good organisational and administrative skills, including digital communication and software use
Desirable:
- AFPE Level 3 or Level 3 PESS
- Sport specific Level 3 (e.g. UEFA B licence)
- HLTA Level 4
- FA Youth Modules
- Have an understanding of the Premier League Primary Stars programme
- Experience supporting children with SEND and adapting session delivery to suit their additional needs
- Experience using monitoring systems such as Salesforce

Pay: £23,132.00-£23,500.00 per year
