Advanced Proteins is the largest single site animal by-product and pet food ingredient supplier in the UK. Based at our state-of-the-art facility in Cheddleton, Staffordshire, we process animal by-products sourced from the livestock and poultry industries into high quality protein ingredients used by major pet food manufacturers across the UK and Europe.
Our rendering process plays an important role in the circular economy, safely and sustainably converting animal by-products from all breeds of farm animals into valuable protein meals and fats. These provide an essential source of nutrition for the pet food industry while supporting responsible waste reduction and environmental sustainability.
About the Role.
We are looking for a reliable, hard working individual to join our finished products dept. The successful candidate will be responsible for milling finished protein meals, monitoring product quality, and loading bulk meal trailers for dispatch to customers.
Ideally, applicants should have experience within a busy manufacturing industry. Agricultural plant (loading shovel, telehandler) experience would be advantageous to handle bulk products, but training will be provided for suitable candidates.
Working hours are 4 x Night Shifts (4 on / 4 off).
Average 42 hours per week - Including weekends on rotation. Hours of work are 18:00-06:00.
