We are looking for a LGV Cat c (class 2) long distance lorry driver, to join our company based at Llantrisant Business Park CF72 8LF.

The position will involve delivering various products throughout the UK driving a rigid truck. Experience of using a tail lift and a pump truck would be advantageous., but a full induction/training will be given. You will be issued your own truck which will only be used by you and not used by anyone else even when you’re on holidays. All our trucks are high roof sleeper cabs with air con, automatic transmissions and have fridges fitted. You will be expected to keep the truck clean and tidy inside and out including washing the outside whenever you return to the transport yard. All equipment will be provided.
This is not Day work; you will be required to do nights out which you will be paid an expense of £25 per night for doing them. Generally, we do between 3 to 5 nights out per week, but this changes from week to week. You will also be required to work some Sundays or Saturdays depending on our workload. This is normally a run out on a Sunday to be parked at a delivery point ready for Monday morning or a run in on a Saturday morning. You will get paid an enhanced rate for this of £20 per driven hour.
You will also be paid bonuses for the work completed in the week,up to £170 at staged amounts.
