About the role
Summary:
As a
Senior Technical Learning Specialist (Data, AI & Automation), you will deliver apprenticeship programmes across the Data Analyst L4, AI Automation and AI Engineer pathways. You will equip learners with practical data, AI and automation skills through engaging, industry-focused learning experiences, coaching and mentoring to support successful outcomes.
Role Responsibilities:
Teach key topics including:
- Deliver high-quality learning across Data Analyst, AI Automation and AI Engineer programmes.
- Teach topics including data analysis, SQL, Power BI, Python, AI, automation, machine learning fundamentals, prompt engineering and Azure technologies.
- Use real-world business scenarios to demonstrate the value of data and AI solutions.
- Coach and support learners to achieve successful outcomes.
- Contribute to curriculum enhancement and best practice.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technologies, industry trends and apprenticeship standards.
Your Experience/Skills:
Essential:
- Professional experience in Data Analytics, Data Science, AI, Automation, Software Engineering or related disciplines.
- Degree or equivalent in a relevant area.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, data analysis, visualisation and Python/code.
- Experience with AI tools, automation technologies and cloud platforms, preferably Azure/AWS.
- Excellent communication, facilitation and engagement skills.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into practical workplace application.
- Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one.
Desirable:
- Experience delivering apprenticeships, training or technical education.
- Master’s or PhD qualification in a relevant area.
- Experience in AI engineering, machine learning, automation or cloud-native solutions.
- Knowledge of modern data platforms and data engineering concepts.
