We Kare Limited is currently recruiting compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Care Assistants to join our friendly home care team supporting clients across the Cardiff area.
Whether you have previous care experience or are looking to start a rewarding career in care, we would love to hear from you. Full training is provided for the right candidates.
As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping people remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes by delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care, including washing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Support clients with mobility and daily living activities.
- Prepare meals and assist with eating and drinking where required.
- Administer or assist with medication in accordance with training and company policies.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with light household duties such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping.
- Accompany clients to appointments and community activities when required.
- Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or wellbeing.
- Maintain accurate care records using electronic systems.
- Promote dignity, independence, privacy, and choice at all times.
Essential Requirements
- A caring, compassionate, and professional attitude.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A full UK driving licence is essential.
- Access to a reliable vehicle for work.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Previous care experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
