Advertising Sales Executive
We are the respected global b2b publisher of ‘theHRDIRECTOR’ which is a strategic HR & People Leader resource in print, digital, person & online.
We are looking for a capable and hard-working sales executive to work across our key Awareness, Authority Marketing and Lead Generation advertising mediums. The role requires you to source new outbound leads as well as to respond to inbound leads that we receive.
You will be forward thinking, tenacious and proactive as you need to be resourceful to reach and engage with key marketing leads for companies who have a product or service for the HR & People industry.
You will be selling advertising to global suppliers in the Human Resources and People Management industry which includes:
- Full Page Display Advertising in our niche print & digital monthly publication
- Banner advertising across our Website, monthly Enewsletter and weekly Linkedin Newsletter
- Email (eshots) to our opted-in readership
- Listings for jobs, events and service provider directory
- Event sponsorship
The role is remote, with one day (Wednesday) in the office per week for collaboration with the team, so you can be based anywhere in the UK, but you must be able reach our office in South Gloucestershire within 2 hours. You can spend more time in the office if you prefer. Please note, as the office is not near publication transport, you will need your own transport.
We are a flexible employer, so your hours can be adapted to suit both parties, as this is a results-driven role, so meeting your sales target each month is what we focus on which will drive your commission.
- You will be an excellent communicator who is able to build rapport by email, telephone, social media and video calls.
- Previous sales experience of digital mediums in the b2b market is essential (previous experience of Human Resource publishing or publishing media will be highly favourable).
- You will have a good understanding of digital advertising mediums, their key uses and expected results.
- You will manage and keep up to date your leads and Clients on our sales CRM database
Remuneration
£30,000 per annum + monthly commission (£55k+ OTE)
28 days holiday per annum pro rata
