Duty Manager – Black Horse and Rainbow, Liverpool
Black Horse and Rainbow is the newest venue from DGB Group, the team behind some of Liverpool’s best-loved bars, including Teddy’s, Pogue Mahone, Gloria’s, Petit Café and Loretta’s.
This is a chance to be part of something from day one—a new venue, a new team and an opportunity to help shape the standards and atmosphere of a pub we want people to properly love.
We’re looking for an experienced Duty Manager who can confidently run busy shifts, lead from the front and create a welcoming, fun and well-run environment for both guests and the team. You’ll support the senior management team with the day-to-day operation of the venue, maintain high standards and make sure every shift runs smoothly.
You’ll be hands-on, reliable and calm under pressure, with the right balance of professionalism, personality and positive energy.
What we’re looking for:
- Previous supervisory or management experience in a busy bar or pub
- Confidence leading a team and running shifts
- Excellent guest service and operational standards
- Good knowledge of drinks and beers
- A calm, organised approach when the venue gets busy
- A hands-on team player who leads by example
- Someone who wants to be part of a strong opening team
